5K/10K begins: 8:00am
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk begins: 9:30am
On race day, please bring a NEW toy, hat, DVD/CD, small stuffed animal, art supplies, PJs, blanket, or gift card of any kind. These items will be given to pediatric cancer patients and their siblings.
Proceeds will benefit families of children with cancer.
Come join the fun! We will also have a giant slide & bounce house for the kids.

Save your aluminum can tabs at work and at school!
We are saving tabs to support the Ronald McDonald House of Central Georgia. The recycled tabs help to pay expenses for the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald house provides affordable temporary housing for families in need of a place to stay while their child receives medical treatment.

National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Saturday, September 18th, 2010
We sold tons of gold bows and raised an estimated $2500.

December 2009 - February 2010:
Special Thanks to Ronnie Newsome,Travis Newsome, Rishin Patel, Drew Ridgely, and Joseph Stephens of Valwood School, Weidinger Tile, Lowe's, Ray & Sons Heating & Air Conditioning, and Veolia Environmental Services. These children and companies helped us to help a local family whose child underwent a bonemarrow transplant. In an effort to reduce germs in the house and to make cleaning easier, the family bought hardwood flooring but was not able to install it because they were at the hospital. Valwood School students volunteered to take the carpet out of the house and Weidinger Tile installed the flooring free of charge. Lowe's donated the trim needed to complete the job. Ray & Sons Heating & Air Conditioning and Veolia Environmental Services helped to make it possible to have a whole house purification system placed. Thank you all so much for your help!

Together we raised $7,300 to be sent to the Brain Tumor Program at St. Jude and we collected over 1,300 toys to be sent to pediatric cancer patients and their siblings. We also collected many gift cards to be given to families of children with cancer.
