*******UPDATE: Signed by President in JULY 2008!!!***********

We watched helplessly as Victoria died because there was no medicine available to help her.  You can't imagine not having the medicine that your sick child needs. Every child deserves a cure. Research is the only way to find a cure.

People assume that childhood cancer is being researched and funded and that sort of thing is being "taken care of".  It is not. Not nearly enough.  The past few years the public has become more aware and slowly, changes are being made.

Many children and families need your help.

The Conquer Childhood Cancer Act of 2007 will be reviewed by Congress in both the House and Senate in the early part of 2008. This act will provide $150 million over a 5-year period for pediatric cancer research. Resesarch is the only way to find a cure.

One child suffering from childhood cancer is one to many.

Please contact your Representatives and ask them to sponsor this act. The House will refer to it as bill H.R.1553 and in the Senate it is bill S.911.  It will only take a few minutes of your time.  Victoria wanted to "help the sick kids". This is a simple way that you can help her do that. Please contact your Representatives.
