The Victoria LeeAnne Newsome Foundation, Inc. was created in memory of Victoria LeeAnne Newsome who was diagnosed at the age of 6 with Medulloblastoma. After a courageous two year battle, Victoria died at the age of 8. There was no medicine available to help her. Currently there is no cure for Medulloblastoma.
Victoria never complained while she was sick. She always saw the good in things and she wanted to share with others. Victoria wanted to "help the sick kids". It is our hope that Victoria will continue to touch people's lives with her contagious smile, her sweet gentle spirit, and her faith so that some day there will be a cure for Medulloblastoma. In the meantime, through sharing Victoria's story and hosting "Victory for Victoria" events we will raise awareness about pediatric brain tumors and raise funds to help improve the quality of life for other children and families faced with cancer.
Every child deserves a cure.
Thank you for your support.
